Unlike wax, sugar paste is applied at body temperature and removed in the direction of hair growth, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It’s biodegradable, effective on short hair, and leaves skin smooth - not sticky.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

For the best results, here’s how to arrive ready:

• Exfoliate 24-48 hours before (no scrubs the day of)

• Hydrate - drink water, and moisturize the day before

• Avoid lotions or oils on the area the day of your service

• wear loose clothes: allow the sugared area to breathe

• Skip intense workouts or sun before and after your appointment

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a form of physical exfoliation using a specialized blade to gently remove dead skin and fine facial hair (aka peach fuzz). It leaves your skin ultra-smooth, better able to absorb products, and creates a flawless canvas for makeup - no downtime, no pain, just glow. Due to each human’s unique nature, we may not be able to remove 100% of peach fuzz.

What are chemical peels?

Sorella Apothecary’s peels are self-neutralizing, results-driven treatments that exfoliate the top layer of skin to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion underneath. These aren’t the scary peels from TV - they’re thoughtfully formulated with botanicals and acids like mandelic or lactic to target concerns like breakouts, dullness, and pigmentation without over-stripping your skin.

What’s a Lash Lift?

A lash lift is like a perm for your natural lashes. It curls and sets them upward for 6-8 weeks of fluttery, eye-opening lift without extensions. Add a lash tint for that effortless “mascara but better” look - perfect for vacations, busy mornings, or just feeling put together.

Cancellation Policy

We strictly enforce a 24hr cancellation policy for all clients (new and returning)
- Up to 24hrs before the start of your appointment time : no charge
- Within 24hrs of your appointment start time: 50% charge
- If you fail to show up on time for your appointment, you will be charged 95% of the service price.

- Being more than 5 minutes late runs the risk of a shortened appointment, as performing your full service could affect the following client.
- 10m late is considered a no call no show (NCNS) and you will be charged 95% of the full service price.
- We reserve the right to: enforce the NCNS policy under 10m for shorter appointments, require pre-payment for repeat offenders, and whatever else the business deems necessary
