How do I prepare for my sugaring appointment?

to ensure the best results for your body sugaring session:

• Allow hair to grow at least 1/8” (about the size of a grain of rice)

• Exfoliate gently 24‑48 hours before (skip scrubs the day of)

• Hydrate and moisturize the day before; arrive with clean, dry skin

• Avoid lotions or oils on the service area on the day of your visit

• Wear loose clothing post‑service and avoid sun or intense workouts immediately afterwards

What should I do after my sugaring service?

Aftercare matters for smooth, healthy skin.

• For the first 24 hours: skip intense workouts, sauna, pools, and sun exposure, Intimacy too!

• Wear breathable, loose‑fitting clothing

• After 48 hours: begin gentle exfoliation and daily soothing hydration (we recommend bushbalm)

• Avoid self‑tanner, scented lotions, and tight fabrics for 1‑2 days

What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation method that uses a blade to remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair (“peach fuzz”), revealing smoother, brighter skin. It enhances absorption of serums, creates a flawless canvas for makeup, and requires no downtime. While we cannot guarantee removal of every hair (each human is unique), you’ll leave feeling refreshed and radiant.

What are chemical peels?

Our chemical peels feature Sorella Apothecary’s botanical‑based formulas. These peels are self‑neutralizing and use gentle acids like mandelic or lactic to exfoliate the top layer of skin, revealing a smoother, more even complexion. Unlike aggressive peels, these are thoughtfully designed for results without excessive downtime - perfect for targeting breakouts, pigmentation, dullness and uneven texture. Pair with Dermaplaning for a more intense result.

Remember: peeling skin is a side effect, not the goal. Just because you’re not flaky doesn’t mean it isn’t working!

What’s a Lash Lift?

A lash lift is a long‑lasting curl for your natural lashes - essentially a “perm” for lashes that lasts 6 to 8 weeks. The treatment lifts and sets your lashes upward for an open‑eyed look; add a lash tint and you’ll enjoy mascara‑style definition without extensions. Ideal for low‑maintenance mornings, travel or simply effortless beauty.

Cancellation Policy

To maintain schedule fairness and availability:

• Cancellations made up to 24 hours in advance: no charge

• Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% of service price will be charged

• Arriving more than 5 minutes late may result in shortened service (based on scheduled appointments)

• No‑call/no‑show (or being 10+ minutes late) will incur 95% of the service cost

• Repeat late cancellations may require pre‑payment for future bookings
